Very nice accommodation but unfortunately not under the given conditions!

The room was very large and very well equipped! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was good and spacious. The owner is very nice, but speaks practically no English (I don't know if she speaks Italian, because that wouldn't have helped me as an Austrian). So the conversation was a bit difficult. The house is really high above the village and you might have expected a little more from the panoramic view, but from the terrace the view is somewhat limited. Apparently only the rooms on the lowest floor, which all share the terrace, are rented. And that was the biggest problem during our stay: All the other rooms on the terrace were rented out to construction workers (extensive road construction work is currently being carried out on the island in order to be able to use the wind energy from the new wind turbine), which is why there was hardly any peace and no privacy on the terrace. There was always a lot of activity here early in the morning and in the evening. Our chairs were constantly missing from the terrace because the workers just took them and used them (until the owner apparently intervened). Therefore, it was not possible for us to switch off and relax to the extent we had hoped! I understand that the construction workers have to live somewhere, but the idea of renting out a room next door to vacationers seeking peace and quiet wasn't the best in my opinion. If I had known about these adverse circumstances, I would not have booked this accommodation! It's not without reason that we travel in the low season (!) and to unknown islands with little tourism! Without this full occupancy by the road workers everything would have been fine! But given these circumstances, we were quite disappointed!

Panorama-agios estratos

Proprietari gentilissimi e molto disponibili. La stanza è molto pulita, assolutamente funzionale e molto piacevole lo spazio esterno.Inoltre è in un punto molto carino, appena un pò più in alto rispetto ad Agios, ma ci si muove comodamente a piedi per raggiungere il paese
